surveyDescriptionRoad and bridge from present highway which leads from sumner mills to the Hartland Depot on the banks of the Connecticut River. Commencing at the point on said highway opposite or nearly opposite what was the West end of the former toll bridge called Sumner Bridge and running thence Easterly to the line of the former way to said bridge or substantially on that line up to the New Hampshire state line. Thence to connect with a bridge to be built in New Hampshire and in along the Western abutment of said bridge the whole to be laid subject to the terms of the vote of the town of Hartland passed at their last meeting by which said bridge is not to be built at an expence to the Town of Hartland of over three thousand dollars.
